Agios Athanatos

The war, murder, hate, greed and injustice of the world may seem overwhelming. The empires and machines of dominance and slavery appear as impenetrable fortresses, growing ever stronger and crueler. But be assured, the situation is far from hopeless. Victory is certain. Peace will triumph. We will not fade away into the darkness that proceeds from the principalities, powers, and rulers of this age. For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. These are our weapons: love, peace, hope, and joy. We will not despair and wait for death to bring us a promised heaven. We will take up our weapons and we will war, leaving heaven in our wake.
